Position Summary and Responsibilities

This is a contingency hire position. A firm job offer will not be made until after contract award. The contract award is expected in the last quarter of the 2017 calendar year.

The Project Controls Analyst will assist the Government in performing oversight of the Anniston Static Detonation Chamber (SDC) and may support oversight activities at other Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (ACWA) demilitarization sites. Typical work activities will include:
  • Gathering data and information including utility consumption data for the Anniston Field Office (AFO) and SDC operations; Providing technical input on cost variance analysis and any corrective action plans from the operation of the SDC and the Government’s evaluation of the SDC operator estimates at completion;
  • Reviewing systemization and operating schedules for schedule mechanics, logic ties, proper identification and loading of technical activities with appropriate durations, and sequencing of technical activities;
  • Attending the SDC operating contractor schedule and cost review meetings in order to provide technical input to the Anniston Site Project Manager (SPM);
  • Providing technical input to Government staff to support the development of independent Government estimates associated with SDC activities;
  • Providing technical input to support the AFO Government staff’s review and evaluation of proposal submissions by the Systems Contractor (SC).

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 4-year degree in business or related field
  • Certified Project Management Professional
  • 5-years’ experience in project management, cost estimating, and cost analysis
  • 3-years’ experience in EVMS reporting
  • 1-year in schedule analysis and reporting including DCMA 14-point assessments.
