The ideal candidate will develop and lead the test group including architecture development, team development, and product development.
-Develop required procedures and hardware for functional test of various products.
-Support bids, proposals and R&D.
-Support manufacturing test development, which includes electronic assemblies, software, and fixturing,
-Experience in testing and troubleshooting of RF circuits including power amplifiers, mixers, filters, and preamps, dividers and related components desired. Support customer reviews for design and testability of product.
-Support production test and start-up of RF products.
-Support production testing and start-up of RF circuits.
-Knowledge of test equipment design and control using LabVIEW mandatory
-Experience developing data analysis algorithms in the LabVIEW setting
-Fiber Optic electronics theory and operational experience a plus
-Analog and digital systems experience is necessary
-Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF power meters, etc.
-Strong troubleshooting skills. Must be able to isolate test failure to component level and have the ability to identify test failure source to a manufacturing defect, a test issue, or a design issue. Experience with power meters and graphical (LabVIEW, Vee) or test based (VB, SCPI) test automation.
-Minimum 8-12 years experience in design and testing RF circuits and Robust Factory test solutions.
-Must have ability to obtain a security clearance. Must be hands-on and have excellent communications skills.
-LabVIEW certified developer (CLD), LabVIEW certified architect (CLA) preferred.
-BSEE with extensive LabVIEW coding experience. Primary focus will be LabVIEW code writing.
-This position will regularly work in excess of 40 hours weekly. Ability to work weekends and evenings when needed for workload is also required.
