Manual Lathe/mill set up operator
Must have knowledge of proto-trac controls
Must be able to create parts from engineered drawings sketches and verbal instructions.
Must have the ability to proficiently use a wide variety of machine shop measuring tools.
Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self starter.
Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances.
Must have the ability to lift 50lbs.
Must maintain a neat, clean and safe work station.
Minimum 4yrs experience setting up and operating manual Lathes/mills
Knowledge of Hardinge, LeBlonde and Proto-Trak lathes and mills.
Work Environment: production floor environment. Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses/safety shoes/heat shielding safety gloves/ other PPE as defined by job specifics.
