Position Summary and Responsibilities

Prime accountability will be on the identification and successful conclusion of new business opportunities with identified market leaders in their respective segments as well as developing those accounts revenue level over time to a strategic level.

 

This includes:

  • Contribution to customers segmentation and identification of market leaders
  • Execute Business Development plans agreed with BTs with associated key performance metrics (prospecting, identifying and closing New Business Opportunities…)
  • Prospect the key market segments to identify potential customers for existing and new products including LinkedIn, marcom campaigns, exhibitions…
  • Develop Strategic accounts as per assigned accounts list
  • Engage with key stakeholders including executives to present our value proposition
  • Build and value-sell specific solutions
  • Support design-in activity of the defined solutions together with the Pixel-Europe team
  • Manage opportunities and pipeline through the CRM consistently
  • Order intake (bookings) to achieve the long term sales plan of the business
  • Quarterly Revenue target to achieve the revenue growth
  • Compliance with the export regulations

The role is expected to be office based using local Teledyne Sales office in the country.

Qualifications

Sales & Business Development Leadership

  • Suitable Graduate Qualification(s) in Commerce, Business Studies, Science or Engineering
  • 5-10years experience in commercial leadership (sales, marketing and business development) with multi-national companies in a B2B environment involving technical products, services and complex solution selling
  • Deep knowledge of North American territory business environment, markets, culture etc.
  • Established track record of delivering sales growth by identifying and winning NBOs working at all levels (from line to C-Suite). 
  • Highly developed sales and business development leadership skills and a hands-on “pioneering” approach to market development including:
    • Discover: research and identify opportunities with existing/new customers including “voice of customer” insights
    • Develop: introduce Teledyne products & solutions focused on key differentiators
    • Identify and articulate ‘’win-win” scenarios
  • A self-starter, with a strong bias-for-action
  • Thrives on opportunities to launch new products, build new customer relationship and quick to see opportunities to extend & expand business with existing customers
  • Innovative,  constantly looking for new sales approach

Communications

  • Listening, probing and analysis skills to capture & articulate VoC
  • A highly effective bridge-builder linking Teledyne stakeholders to customers
  • Highly developed presentation skills to internal & external customers/stakeholders
  • Fluent in English; French and Spanish would be an advantage.

Mobility

  • The individual will have to travel over 50% of his time within the region and will have to come over to Europe on a regular basis to meet the teams.

Min Salary

USD $69,658.00/Yr.

Max Salary

USD $174,191.00/Yr.
