We have a great opportunity at our Mason, Ohio facility for a Sustaining Electrical Engineer/Technician

Summary

 

Responsible for the continuing engineering and technical support that follows release of requirements, specifications, and drawings for fabrication, assembly, testing, delivery of an end-product and continuing products Regulatory & Safety compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in streamlining the process of taking plans for a product from development and into full-scale production.
• Develops a timetable and plan for production, assess prototypes, research potential material sources and alternate electronic components as well as re-laying out Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) when necessary.
• Makes recommendations for improvements to the product from the perspective of production.
• Facilitate continuing released products Regulatory & Safety Compliance Standards.
• Participate in decisions about the purchase of new processes and/or manufacturing equipment, and in training for workers to ensure a quality product.
• Provide technical and customer support following the release of product specifications and requirements.
• Abilities to read and comprehend system schematics.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electronic components

           

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 0-2 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
