As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in customer discovery, technology innovation, and system architectural development which then maps to product design requirements. You will apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. You will also be responsible for electrical design implementation, integration and test in support of successful system solution validation and product introduction to the marketplace.
You will work on a cross-functional team environment requiring good communication skills; will serve as a mentor to junior engineers and may have a supervisory role. Drawing upon design experience, this role will provide guidance on project development timelines, resource loading and best practices for developing a quality solution.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 10-15 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with the following is desired: Working with regulated products that comply to local or international standards. Designing and developing complex electrical systems that included analog, digital and microprocessor circuits and digital signal processing. Electrical noise mitigation. Low DC power consumption. Integrating acoustic based sensors. Designing for intrinsic safety. Designing and developing devices that communicate via cellular modem modules.
