Position Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a college student studying in a science, engineering, or technical communications related field? Teledyne Microwave Solutions is offering a position in our Document Control Department.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with the processing of documents to align formatting, redline updates, and other changes
  • Review existing support documentation for accuracy and correct as needed
  • Data entry of Bills of Materials (BoMs) into the company’s ERP system, MAPICS XA
  • Generate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • Work in a collaborative environment, partnering with engineering, planning, and other cross-discipline teams
  • Scan documents and storing of .pdf files
  • Become familiar in reading drawings, specifications, and vend datasheet
  • Transfer files from the company’s legacy document control system to the new Product Data Management (PDM) system

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following are required:

  • Actively enrolled in full-time college coursework for Fall 2022
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday during standard business hours
  • Proficient in Windows PC application software (MS Windows, MS Office, PDF generation)
  • US person
