Teledyne Brown Engineering has immediate openings for several internships in numerous engineering and science fields, including electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, and computer science.
TBE is focused on actively recruiting students with a desire to grow their knowledge and skillset targeted at operating at the highest levels in the defense, energy, maritime, and manufacturing industry. These employees will work for a three to four-month period on both in-line projects and special projects associated with current and future endeavors in their respective fields.

The intern must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science degree or in the Engineering fields of Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace. The intern will work with experienced professionals to apply technology from multiple science and engineering disciplines to contribute to simulations of hypervelocity/hypersonic vehicles, satellite remote sensing systems, and missile defense elements. Various phases of the work will involve aspects of physics, thermo-fluid sciences, CFD, astrophysics, optical sciences, atmospheric science, remote sensing, and requirements analysis. The intern will have the opportunity to implement modeling and simulation algorithms in MATLAB, Python, or high-level programming languages. The team will work with the intern to exercise and develop communication skills using small-group discussions, technical meetings, presentations, and written reports.
Education and Experience:
Candidates must be current college students entering their Junior or Senior year in an undergraduate program.
Candidates must have completed 60 hours of college credit and with a declared major in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or computer science.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
Demonstrated critical thinking in complex technical, engineering, finance, and/or management projects
Demonstrated leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects.
