As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for an Analog Mixed-Signal IC Designer in Waterloo.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Teledyne DALSA CMOS Image Sensor group is looking for an Analog Mixed-Signal IC Designer to join its world leading CMOS Image Sensor development team. The successful candidate will work in a team environment to develop innovative IC products, from design through to production, for use in a wide variety of high performance applications in Machine Vision, Aerospace, Life Sciences, and Defense & Security. The team has a particular focus on Advanced Linescan and Global Shutter technologies for imaging at a variety of wavelength ranges from the UV through to LWIR. 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Have direct experience in the design, simulation, layout, verification, and evaluation of core CMOS circuit building blocks such as current mirrors, bandgap references, operational amplifiers, level shifters, comparators, high speed ADCs, PLLs and high speed serializers
  • Have direct experience with layout for low noise and high speed circuit operation
  • Have direct experience with the debug of mixed-signal devices in h/w
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps and innovation in CMOS circuit development
  • Knowledge of Verilog/Verilog-AMS is a plus
  • Work well in a team development environment and have strong communication skills
  • Have a proven ability to problem solve and innovate in a dynamic environment
  • Work with product definition teams, internal and external customers, program managers, and technical project leaders in other disciplines

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in mixed-signal IC development
  • Experience with high performance CMOS Image Sensor development is an asset

Min Salary

CAD $70,000.00/Yr.

Max Salary

CAD $135,000.00/Yr.
