Teledyne designs and manufactures RF and Microwave amplifier modules, and subsystems. Most of our work is custom. The quality and reliability of our products is very important for our company and our customers.

Teledyne is looking to fill a RF Test Technician swing shift position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• A working understanding of the RF and DC testing that is completed in support of production,
• A working understanding of microwave measurements, RF amplifiers, automated testing, and manual testing of microwave products with limited supervision.
• A working understanding of reading and interpreting specifications in the production units.
• Assist in providing guidance and training to other test personnel on an as required basis.
• Execute RF tests per documented procedure and provide accurate data for the units.
• Communicating during the RF test stage with the supervisor or responsible technician of a product with out of tolerance RF measurements or other problems.
• An aptitude for identifying the common problems seen in the production hardware.
• Be able to clearly communicate and interact with the Quality personnel and the necessary production and manufacturing personnel to resolve production-related issurs.
• Required to read and comprehend detailed instruction for each test being performed...
• A solid understanding of the RF and DC testing that is completed in support of production hardware. Some of the tests are gain, VSWR, 1 dB compression point, Sat power, 3^rd OIP, noise figure, spurious, and harmonics.
• Must be able to make independent judgment and be detailed oriented and provide neat and orderly work and data.
• Ensure company compliance in accordance with all company policy and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Associates degree (A.A./A.S.) from two-year college or technical school preferred; or five years related experience in RF field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or military electronics experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as test procedures, operating instructions, and procedures. Must be proficient in reading and writing in English,

Security Clearance:

Candidate must have or be able to apply for a secret security clearance.

US citizen.
