Responsible for ensuring the safety of information systems assets and protecting systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.  This position serves as leader for ‘OT’, Product and Service information security.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Identify and help mitigate OT risk in BUs
• Identify and help mitigate cyber-risk in products and service offerings
• Help redefine the development and procurement processes so they incorporate security considerations early and effectively to mitigate cyber risk

• Review, coordinate, and align with the work of the Cloud Advisory Council

• Manage the Cybersecurity Team’s Guardians program

Education and/or Experience                                           

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 10-15 years of information technology experience with a cybersecurity focus and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Desired certifications include:  Security+, CISM, CISSP
• Knowledge of and experience working under regulatory requirements related to privacy and information security

Language Skills

Ability to interact with product development engineers, production test teams, service depot staff, software engineering teams, and BU management effectively and persuasively.  Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to translate security situations and postures into business objectives and outcomes.

 

Reasoning Ability

Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies. Demonstrates judgment and discretion in working with sensitive information and confidential matters.

 

Computer Skills

• Extensive knowledge and advanced understanding of the following:
  • SecDevOps
  • SW Development
  • Network Design
  • Cloud Security
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies

• Ability to travel approximately 5%
