In addition to the design and manufacture of the mentioned analytical equipment, we also provide service and repair to a variety of other analytical laboratory instruments as well as process control instrumentation.
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. Controls day to day operations of electrical areas and coordinates work order activities. Responsible for abiding by all Federal, state and local requirements. Performs electrical duties involving the use of all safety guidelines.
- Follows all department and plant SOP’s and procedures.
-Identifies electrical problems, finds solutions in a timely manner.
-Oversee all estimates of electrical repair costs.
-Works on blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts and other specifications.
-Determines materials and working procedures needed in electrical maint.
-Repairs and installs electrical equipment and component parts.
-Installs electrical work according to state, fed. & local laws.
-Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines.
-Conducting safety inspections ensuring systems comply with code.
-Diagnoses/replace bad mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Plans & perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electricalprinciples.
- Interacts with customer contacts to provide guidance on building electrical safety

License/Certifications/ Education/ Experience
Must have a current Journeyman Electrician's License
8-10 years of experience
Know NEC and building codes
Experience with voltage of 480V or less
NCCER for Industrial Electrician
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and electrical instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively and communicate with others. Well-developed communication skills.
Ability to identify and explain the use of special measuring devices; ability to use formulas to solve basic problems.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have experience and basic knowledge of computers and be able to learn programs necessary to carry out job functions.
Valid driver’s license. Clean background check/drug test
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel and other general office equipment.
