Compiles and analyzes financial information for company and operating segment. Develops integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation of financial data. At this level, tasks and assignments tend to be general but may involve complex and/or non-routine assignments and duties are performed under limited supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance
• Prepare reports, charts, and projections based on the analysis
• Consolidate financial plans and forecast from segment business units, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Assist in the preparation of the forward pricing proposal for DCMA
• Assist in the preparation of corporate reporting for monthly and quarterly schedules
• Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation
• Responsible for maintaining fixed assets records and performing monthly reconciliations and corporate reporting for fixed assets
• Responsible for recording charges from other Teledyne companies related to the purchase of software / hardware and IT shared services.
• Establish and evaluate profit plans
• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Provides financial models and forecast data
• Coordinates with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
• Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability                                                             

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
