Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Timeline Change Officer (TCO) serves as the real-time expert on all NASA payload planning-related information for the International Space Station.  Coordinating with NASA control centers, International Partners, and NASA Payload Developers, the TCO bridges the gap between long range planning and execution of the plan on board by the crew.  The TCO team supports real-time operations seven days a week, twenty-four hours per day; in addition, short term planning operations are supported five days a week, eight hours per day.


Education and Experience:


The desired knowledge base for this job includes a Bachelor of Science with 2 years of experience in an engineering/science field.


Strongly Preferred:

Experience in payload operations integration is preferred.  Good communication skills are very important.

Experience in engineering, logistics, supply management, and operations integration. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.


Citizenship Requirements

Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
