Position Summary and Responsibilities

Work closely with the Business Manager to establish, track, report and forecast all facets of assigned programs. Track spending, inventory, revenue, fee recognition and other elements required. Ensure that the reporting requirements for both internal and external customers are in compliance with company procedures. Complete requirements such as cost management, budget development and analyses, financial estimating, configuration management and proposal support. Report status of Orders, Sales, Income and Funds with appropriate variance analysis and take appropriate actions to achieve business commitments. Manage Estimate at Completions (EAC), subcontractor tracking and funding, cost proposals and other tasks as defined. Works closely with Program Managers, IPT Leads, Cost Accounting, Finance, Contracts, and other internal support organizations. Candidate should have strong analytical and communications skills.

 

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to coordinate these efforts across multiple disciples. Candidate must be comfortable discussing schedule, scheduling requirements and status with customer representatives. Candidate will work with Business Office personnel in support of Earned Value (EV) reporting requirements. 

 

Years of experience and a thorough working knowledge of Earned Value and applicable Guidelines is required. A Demonstrated ability to systematically gather relevant information from different organizations (engineering, manufacturing, test) and update and modify related information.

Qualifications


Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related positions and a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience working as a Business Analyst in the Government contracting environment. Experience in forecast, planning, reporting, customer interfacing, Earned Value reporting and analysis, and working with spend plans. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Desired:
ERP and reporting tool experience a plus (Costpoint, Epicor, Cognos, TM1/Planning Analytics)
Knowledgeable in multiple government contract types
