Perform manufacturing engineering tasks on complex hardware and systems under strict quality programs on DOD, DOE, NASA and commercial programs. Tasks include part master, BOM and router entry into our MRP system, creation of work instructions and shop routings for machining, fabrication and assembly work based on drawings and/or models, Quality and Contract requirements. Additional tasks include problem resolution, change control, process improvement, schedule input, drawing review and approval, fixture and tooling design, author SOW’s and process specifications. Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and routinely communicating with machinist, welders and assembly personnel along with interfacing with design engineering and program management. Drawing interpretation and knowledge of GD&T skills required, MS Office suite expertise needed, experience in Epicor and Costpoint is a plus. A self-starting, team oriented individual is a must.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook; MS Excel and MS Word software.
Other Essential Duties: Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
