Creates and modifies drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering. Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECN/ECR documentation. At this level, tasks and assignments tend to be simple, straight-forward in nature and duties are performed under close supervision.

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 0-2 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
