TBE is developing physics-based models/simulations and performing data analysis in support of missile defense projects. We are seeking an experienced modeling and simulation (M&S) engineer to be a key member of a technically diverse team of professionals. The team's software products include end-to-end representations of missiles, missile payloads, and environments in all flight regimes (subsonic, transonic, supersonic, and hypersonic) that include aeroheating, material response, and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) signatures.
Examples of tasks that will be performed by the modeling and simulation engineer include: systems engineering and requirements analysis, formal and informal acceptance testing, verification/validation analysis, algorithm/software development, configuration management, user support, contributing to customer reports, creating documentation and briefing materials, and participating in team planning sessions.
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Engineering Physics. Other Techncial degrees will be considered.
Ten (10) years of experience in the development, testing, analysis, and support of missile defense M&S software.
Experience with the Optical Signatures Code (OSC) and OPTical Signature In-line Generator (OPTISIG) suite of software products is required.
Experience with MDA Core Truth Models (CTM) software is highly desireable.
