Position Summary and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with VP/General Manager of MEC/Paradise, finance personnel and other site controllers in the areas of financial and business reporting to include: proactive analysis of business trends, forecasting and budgeting, government proposals, rates and reporting requirements and managed working capital analysis.
  • Support and develop strong consistent internal control processes meeting Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance requirements, between TMS US locations (Rancho Cordova, CA; Mountainview, CA; State College, PA) and any future locations that may be added.
  • Manage TMS US shared services to include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed asset management and prepaids expenses.
  • Lead/coordinate monthly financial close ensuring consistency and compliance to corporate accounting standards, procedures and reporting timetables
  • Prepare/coordinate various financial analysis schedules required for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Act as primary point of contact for all audits – both internal and external auditors and government agencies such as DCAA
  • Coordinate/prepare annual bottoms up business plan – including P&L’s, balance sheet, capital budget, cash flow and expense budgets; monthly forecasts – including P&L’s, balance sheet and cash flows; and weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Maintains necessary relationship with the information technology team to assure appropriate systems are in place to track and model all data for business management purposes.
  • Support other initiatives of the VP of Finance A&DE as needed.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Licensed CPA preferred. 7-10 years of Controller/Accounting Manager experience in defense contract/manufacturing company. Knowledge of FAR and CAS. BS in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.  MBA a plus.

 

Computer Skills:

ERP experience.   Mapics XA and Onestream experience a plus. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

 

Position will be based out of Rancho Cordova, CA and report to the VP of Finance, AD&E.
