    Teledyne is currently seeking a Hardware Configuration Management Analyst to asist in achieving company goals for product quality and on-time delivery.

    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The HCM Analyst role is critical to achieving not only the goals of the Configuration Management ﴾CM﴿ group but also for achieving projects and product line goals by serving in an advisory capacity for CM issues.

    •  Generate Hardware Configuration Management ﴾CM﴿ Plans and provide hardware CM support for all programs.
    • Interface with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing and program management at all levels on issues related to HCM.
    • Assist in the development and modification of CM processes in accordance with established procedures.
    • Perform review of documentation and changes in the role of HCM in the electronic Document Management System.
    • Administer the Change Control Board ﴾CCB﴿ activities.
    • Attend and support customer reviews, ISO/AS compliance audits, and Quality Assurance initiatives.
    • Generate Minor Change and status accounting reports for government and customers as required by regulation and contract.
    • Review HW and SW design documentation prior to release.
    • Ensure that new documentation and revisions conform to company standards.
    • Validate change effectivity and parts disposition of HW drawings.




    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in related field or equivalent experience; at least ten (10) years experience  in HW Configuration Management.
    • Advanced proficiency in Windows PC applications such as including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Working knowledge of ERP Item Master database elements and BoM structers.
    • Knowledge with MS Visual SourceSafe, Git, IBM Rational Synergy, and IBM Rational Change strongly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of computer file-management practices and methods; experience in handling, controlling, and management computer files preferred.
    • Knowledge of Windows and/or Unix/Linux platforms.
    • Experience with MAPICS XA or similar ERP system software.
