This temporary Electrical Test Technician role may be considered for conversion to a regular full time position.

    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Electrical Test Technician

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Conducts tests of components, assemblies, and systems based on test criteria as established by procedures; maintains accurate records of test results and reports results to appropriate group

     

    Set up and operate a wide variety of standard test stands consisting of generators, oscilloscopes, multimeter and complex test equipment

     

    Troubleshoots and repairs subassemblies and systems, maintains quality of the product

     

    Works from a variety of documents including test specifications, schematics, etc.

     

    Prepares prototypes of assemblies and systems as directed by policies and procedures or written test plans or work requests.  Ensures that the prototypes meet the established specifications.

     

    Operates required machinery and equipment in a safe manner following established safety rules, maintains a neat and clean work area, follows established tool and instrument control procedures, and reports any unsafe acts or conditions to his or her immediate supervisor.

     

    Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

     

     

     

    Qualifications

     

     

    • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work
    • Electrical Test Set Up Experience
    • Communication Proficiency
    • Collaboration Skills
    • Problem Solving/Analysis
    • Ability to perform fine pitch solder work a plus
