    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The Technician will work directly in production line. The employee will operate the laser welder and various equipment as required, perform preventive maintenance, also need to be familiar with various assembly hand tools. May develop technical specifications and procedures.  May maintain a Lab Book.  May prepare reports and recommend solutions to technical problems as required.

    Duties may include, but not limited to

    • Familiar with assembly working environmental and various hand tools
    • Mechanical assembly: solder feedthrus into to metal plated housing (Nickel, gold or silver plated), Kovar, Stainless Steel using low and high temperature solder, per print
    • Sub-assembly: solder integration wires to metal housing per print
    • PCB assembly: solder components to circuit boards per print
    • Support finishing in Alodine & marking
    • Familiar with Laser weld process. Experiment in laser welder operating should be preferred.
    • Familiar with leak test equipment or equivalent
    • Able to trouble shoot basic equipment failures per MFG guidance

    Qualifications

    Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel.  Good knowledge and understanding of microwave theory and application.

    • J-STD-001 for soldering, or equivalent experiences.
    • Able to use various assembly tools and assembly equipment, solder irons, high temperature hot plates…
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCad
    • Able to read assembly drawings, equipment’s electrical & mechanical diagrams
    • Flexible working time
    • On the job training and supporting other assembly group if needed

    U.S. citizen and must be eligible to attain a security clearance.
