    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    Assist in activities for the Array Production cleanroom with respect to production equipment and factory server maintenance, PM scheduling, critical maintenance and repair. Interacts with facilities, vendors and suppliers.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Maintains process equipment in cleanroom with a goal to continuously reduce downtime
    • Interacts with facilities, vendors and suppliers to expedite down time of production equipment and tracks downtime using Excel spreadsheets
    • Continuously obtains knowledge of fabrication equipment to maintain uptime
    • Perform electronic troubleshooting and reads/understands electrical schematics
    • Assists in the purchasing and qualification of capital items including new software
    • Composes TME documentation and maintains an inventory location and control system of spare parts for each system
    • Researches and purchases equipment parts
    • Schedules and performs projects and supports other departments and managers as needed
    • Frequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of data


    Qualifications & Competencies  


    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:


    • Thorough working knowledge of vacuum technology operations, service and repair
    • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to exercise a considerable amount of independent judgment
    • Ability to effectively communicate with outside vendors, suppliers and other department members
    • Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
    • Must be available to work split shift.



    Education and/or Experience


    ·         High School Diploma with fifteen (15) plus years of experience working with vacuum technology and deposition, cyro pumps, diffusion pumps and gauges



    Citizenship Requirements


    Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
