    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Storm Microwave, a leading manufacturer of R/F Microwave cable assemblies, is searching for a Quality Engineer Technician at our Woodridge, IL facility.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Reviewing quality notes in Sales Orders and executing action items
    • Creating and executing First Article inspection report requirements
    • Scheduling and facilitating source inspections
    • Reviewing and evaluating customer returns (RMA)
    • Performing quality audits on finished goods
    • Reviewing and validating:
      • Cable and connector pre-conditioning thermal charts
      • Certificate of Conformance (C of C)
      • X-ray images
      • Test reports

    Qualifications

    • Associate Degree in Engineering or a minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
    • Must be independent and capable of making good decisions
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and documents.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (candidate will be required to communicate with suppliers and customers)
    • Must work well with others on the TSM team
