    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The purpose and essential functions of this position is to perform the processing of Payroll and Time and Labor posting.

    Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payrolls and daily posting from the timekeeping system.

    Maintain well documented and well organized payroll records.

    Respond to employees’ questions regarding paychecks and W2 forms.

    Research and work with HR and Finance teams and ADP to correct payroll errors.

    Work with the HR team to ensure new hires, terminations and related employee changes paperwork and action items are processed timely and accurately.

    Maintain accuracy and integrity of timekeeping system by auditing and correcting issues.

    Critically review and analyze current payroll practices and procedures in order to recommend and implement positive changes and solutions. Update and maintain Payroll Practices and Procedures policies and Payroll Manual.

    Maintain reports for monthly, quarterly and annual dashboards. Prepare various government regulated reports and surveys.

    Participate in audits related to pay policies and practices.

    Qualifications

    Associates degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.

    Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar qualification preferred.

    Minimum of five years of payroll processing experience, including time and attendance and PTO tracking.

    Thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of all federal, state and local labor laws and taxation.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters; must be able to operate with professionalism, discretion, diplomacy, and possess sound decision-making skills.

    Solid accounting, mathematical reasoning and deduction skills.

    Proficiency with Excel for analytics and PowerPoint for presentations.

    Previous experience with ADP EV5, eTime, Infor or Paperless ATM a huge plus.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

    Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

    Experience with multi-state payroll.

    Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
