    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The Process Technician supports and processes assignments that require the utilization of mechanized equipment for the fabrication of various electronic devices in different cleanroom sections such as backside, metallization, and RIE.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    •       Responsible for all Work in Progress (WIP) in assigned areas
    •       Operates various types of mechanized equipment in assigned areas
    •       Conducts the operations and verification of backside wafer processing
    •       Maintains necessary material and chemicals to accomplish backside tasks
    •       Executes data acquisition and inputs SPC for all parameters in the section
    •       Performs daily and weekly routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment in the section
    •       Follows all cleanroom procedures, protocol and instructions (both written and verbal)

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Competencies  

                                                     

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

    • Capability to work both in a team environment and independently
    • Basic understanding of cleanroom operations and semiconductor fabrication
    • Ability to follow procedures, protocol and instructions (written & verbal)
    • Ability to improve processes and document results
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices

     

     Education and/or Experience

    • High School Diploma with five (5) plus years of cleanroom experience; semiconductor processing background preferred
