    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Brown is seeking a Facilities Engineer to report to  provide engineering definition, calculations and support numerous facility projects. The position will lead and or work various project activities, perform project reviews, evaluate and reports cost & schedule where applicable and lead the technical meetings. The goal is to execute and complete all milestones and objectives.



    • The responsible person will administer and resolve all technical maintenance issues.
    • Interface with internal customers, subcontractors and vendors on facilities, production, and maintenance equipment and other issues as they arise.
    • The Facility and Maintenance Engineer will track and provide metrics for short term goals and provide inputs which will be used for long term and continues improvement planning.
    • He or she shall operate within budget and schedule constraints.
    • The position will help to identify problems and then develop solutions for resolution.
    • Plans and coordinates activities involving design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in the plant: Establishes standards and best work place practices for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
    • Work with staff to ensure that the maintenance management system is kept current and up to date.
    • The individual will ensure that preventive and predictive maintenance tasks are properly scheduled and completed to maximize the life of the assets.
    •  The position will have some on call and weekend work requirements to support facility and equipment repairs.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    3-5 years of experience working in the area of Facilities/Maintenance preferably at an older plant.


    Looking for someone with experience and certifications in electrical, mechanical and with working knowledge in other maintenance trades, including carpentry, painting, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, locksmith, and construction etc.


    The candidate must have experience and be able to trouble shoot various plant/production equipment and systems such as: Generators, switch gear, compressors, saws, mills, HVAC equipment, boilers, lightening, exhaust, electrical panels, etc..


    Familiar with Federal, State and Local codes.
