    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Responsible for the management and coordination of all programmatic activities on assigned programs for Teledyne Judson Technologies.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    • Manages programs through all phases from RFP review, proposal preparation and submission, contract negotiation, program baseline, kick off, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, qualification, verification, production, and delivery.
    • Leads and coordinates multiple programs of various sizes and complexity in parallel.
    • Implements program management practices including creating integrated master schedules, baseline management, cost and estimate to complete management, risk management and change management.
    • Analyze and evaluate alternative to complex problems and coordinating solutions with customer and program teammates.
    • Serves as main customer focal representing Teledyne for assigned programs.
    • Responsible for communication on program between all stakeholders including the program team customer and leadership.
    • Supports the program management organization by contributing to lessons learned and best practices.   Leads and administers program practices such as recurring program reviews, program reports, resource reviews, and integrated schedule reviews.
    • Generates and manages to program metrics including cost and schedule performance indicators.
    • Interacts with highly technical internal personnel and external customers in all matters including contracts, finance, accounting and procurement.
    • Manages programs independently with expectation that critical issues and help needed are raised to management in timely manner.


    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

    • Demonstrated program management experience in space / military / commercial program management experience.
    • Demonstrated capability for program risk management
    • Knowledge and experience with earned value management practices.
    • Experience with proposing and executing multiple contract types include cost and fixed price types as well as commercial and government contracts.
    • Demonstrated experience in building effective project teams.
    • Advanced skills in generating resource loaded, integrated master schedules in Microsoft project or equivalent tool set.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Technical background in Electronics / Optics / Electrical / Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering along with experience in imaging, semiconductors and infrared materials is a plus.
    • Ability to travel 2-4 times per quarter primarily within the US.



    Education and/or Experience


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (Master Degree Desired)

    • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance
