    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Brown Engineering is seeking a Senior Planner to help plan, manage, and coordinate activities of the Production Planning/ Scheduling Department. 


    Major Duties:

    •  Make/buy planning and scheduling functions.
    •  Preparation of production planning data based on conceptual engineering data.
    •  Establishment and maintenance of planning parameters for all material.
    •  Identification and execution of alternative production and material options when confronted with manufacturing restraints.
    •  Schedule and material analysis for all schedule changes and engineering changes.
    •  Monitoring of costs associated with material and production efforts.
    •  Interfacing with Program Management and other functional areas to ensure contract schedule and program success.


    Education :


    Sixteen years of professional experience in a Manufacturing/MRP environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  A BS in Business Administration or related field is highly desirable, but not mandatory.  APICS certification is desired, but not mandatory.
