    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensures everyone is working safely at all times
    • Makes process or facility recommendations to improve safety
    • Directs and coordinates daily activities involved in producing products
    • Establishing and/or adjusting work procedures and manpower to meet production schedules
    • Implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
    • Assisting workers in solving problems
    • Helps to motivate employees to achieve work goals
    • Responsible for counseling, training and developing of direct reports


    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years in manufacturing
    • 2+ years Supervisory experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and World Class Manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures is desirable

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment
    • Ability to work with little or no notice of overtime when needed
    • Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and procedures
    • Prior Leadership experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
    • Excellent Organizational Skills
    • Computer Literate- experience with Microsoft Office,  ERP/MRP (helpful)

    • IFS Overview
    • Quality Systems
    • Hazardous Communications 

    Physical Demands:

    • Occasionally lifting
    • Repetitive motions


    Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
