    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Controls’ has an exciting opportunity as a Manufacturing Test Technician in our Manufacturing Test Group located in El Segundo, CA. This position requires inspecting, testing, troubleshooting equipment used on aircraft, and quality and efficiency at the source of all testing.

    Key Functions

    • Assist with troubleshooting faults in electronic circuits and systems using various types of test equipment e.g., Special Test Equipment "STE", Automated Test Equipment "ATE", data analyzers, microprocessors emulators, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.
    • Assist with reading and interpreting production illustrations (PI), wiring diagrams, schematics, understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes.
    • Assist with identifying and troubleshooting process, materials, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions.
    • Must have obtained troubleshooting and fault isolation skills through training and/or schooling.



    • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Electronics or Certification in Electronics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools: Outlook, Word; and advance knowledge with Excel
    • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and fault isolation


    • IPC-A-610 class 2 soldering skills
