Teledyne Brown is seeking a Space Sensor Concept Developer to develop communications (RF and laser) solution alternatives, and selection of best solutions to meet Government HBTSS mission objectives for in-space (i.e., satellite to satellite); space to ground; and ground communications concepts. This includes interfaces to Government and commercial communications components. The Space Sensor Concept Developer will translate communications concepts into requirements for their representation in a Signal-chain Processing Demonstration.
The Space Sensor Concept Developer will be responsible for the following:
Must be current holder of SECRET (or higher) security clearance.
Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
Requires a minimum of a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering or applied science (e.g. mathematics, physics) plus approximately twelve (12) years of related experience.
Experience with development and use of EADSIM. Understanding of aerospace vehicle subsystems and functionality. Experience with C/C++ programming languages. Advanced degree in a recognized field of engineering or applied science (e.g. mathematics, physics).
