    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Brown is seeking a Space Sensor Principal Analyst to develop to develop and evaluate tracking algorithms for HBTSS applications; and their representation in the Signal-chain Processing Demonstration.

    The Satellite Space Sensor Principal Analyst will be responsible for the following:

    • Definition and evaluation of algorithms for tracking ballistic missile and other targets of interest from reported sightings from multiple sensors
    • Evaluation of legacy tracking algorithms against alternative track algorithm formulations
    • Configuration and modifications to EADSIM necessary to use it to evaluate alternate tracking algorithmic approaches
    • Implementation of selected tracking approach in Signal-chain Processing Demonstration
    • Evaluation of track algorithm performance in the Signal-chain Processing Demonstration.

    Must be current holder of SECRET (or higher) security clearance.

     

    Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.

    Qualifications

     

    Education:

    Requires a minimum of a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering or applied science (e.g. mathematics, physics) plus approximately ten (10) years of related experience; or MS degree plus approximately eight (8) years of related experience; or PhD degree plus approximately five (5) years of related experience.

    Preferred:

    Experience with development and use of EADSIM. Understanding of aerospace vehicle subsystems and functionality. Experience with C/C++ programming languages. Advanced degree in a recognized field of engineering or applied science (e.g. mathematics, physics).
