    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Serves as the technical point of contact between Teledyne Brown Engineering and our customer to ensure all project requirements and specifications are fully met.  Coordinates with internal and external organizations for the execution of complex engineering and testing activities to include system installation, site acceptance testing and system optimization testing.

    Major Duties include:

    1. Acts as the project/lead engineer for integration of systems under test in the facility.
    2. Develop test plans and procedures for system testing.
    3. Write and review test reports ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    4. Support proposal development and task execution estimates.
    5. Track and report testing progress and results and make recommendations for future testing activities or modifications to the test program.
    6. Lead meetings, design reviews and test reviews.
    7. Supports the program manager in tracking cost and schedule.
    8. Provides direction to technicians in the operation and maintenance of systems under test.
    9. Completes engineering and design calculations in their area of expertise.

    May require some travel with in the United States. Typically less than 10% travel.


    Must be eligible to attain a security clearance



    Requires a bachelor's degree in a recognized field of engineering or science; graduate degree or professional engineers (PE) licence is highly desirable.


    Normally requires 10 plus years of applicable experience with increasing technical responsibilities. Nuclear and/or radiological process background is highly desirable.


    Must have the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance; active Q clearance preferred.

    Citizenship Requirements

    Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
